Matala – A book by Manolis Daloukas

The book describes Alexia's escape from her home in Athens and the atmosphere that suffocates her. The sixteen-year-old girl goes to Matala (Crete) where she lives the love and the psychedelic dream in the caves.
The story revives the Flower Age and is based on real events.

Granny Takes a Trip Photograph By Simos Tsapnidis 1966

Granny Takes a Trip was a boutique opened in February 1966 at 488 Kings Road, Chelsea, London, by Nigel Waymouth, his girlfriend Sheila Cohen and John Pearse. The shop, remained open until the mid-1970s and has been called the first psychedelic boutique in Swinging London of the 1960s.
